Free Museum Day Is Sept. 27!

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

OK, I’m breaking my own rules and posting about something that’s not happening in Chico. But it’s so cool! Sept. 27 is Free Museum Day, sponsored by Smithsonian Magazine. Hundreds of museums are participating nationwide, including the Sacramento Zoo and Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding. Go to the Museum Day Web site to download your free tickets for general admission (two per household.) As for the Chico Museum, remodeling is continuing throughout the summer in anticipation of a grand reopening in October.
