Can I advertise on ChicoKids.net?
Nope. Not as this time; maybe never. My main goal in setting up ChicoKids.net is to provide an independent resource for families. I love information, I love easy access to information and I love things that are free. I don’t expect to make a profit on this site; it would be great if I could just cover hosting fees.
How can I support this site?
You can help make the resource more complete by sending in information about kid-friendly places and activities in Chico. Let me know of events to post on the calendar (free and low-cost get priority.) Email them to info@chicokids.net. Spread the word about this site. You could also choose to go through one of my Amazon links whenever you buy something from Amazon.com. I get a little kickback from that, and they’ll never tell me who you are, so don’t worry that I’ll be scoping out your reading list. Also, please only click on ads here if you’re genuinely interested in the product or service advertised. I don’t want to get on Google’s bad side! You could also visit my other sites listed under “Tipsites” in the sidebar. Parents might especially enjoy www.freepreschoolcrafts.com, www.freegradeschoolcrafts.com (haven’t updated that one lately though), www.easycupcakes.com, www.babyfootprints.info, www.babyshowerfun.net, www.babymiddlename.net and www.teethingtips.com.
Can I submit a press release or calendar listing?
Sure! Please do. Listings are free, but not guaranteed. Free and low-cost events get priority. Send an email to info@chicokids.net and I’ll do what I can, when I can.
Do you mention or list things that aren’t in Chico?
Not at this time. I really wanted to keep the site manageable, as this is just a hobby for me.
